Intro Web Design Series

In this series of free lessons, you will learn how to build this simple website from start to finish in a step-by-step manner. Click on the image to see the website in action.

The series broken into these three parts.

1) Intro Fireworks Lessons: In these lessons we will be creating the design comp for our website project. You will learn the basic tools and interface of Fireworks as well as performing a basic photo enhancement.

2) HTML / Dreamweaver Lessons: Learn the very basic of HTML, the language for creating web pages and web site. No experience needed. Just follow the step-by-step instructions as we use Dreamweaver 8 to implement the website based on the design comp created in the Intro Fireworks lessons.

3) Intro CSS Lessons: Learn the basic concepts of CSS (Cascading Style Sheets) as we complete our website project. For these lessons, we will be using Dreamweaver 8 which has very good CSS support.

All the source code in each of the lessons will be available for you to download. In the end you will have a fully working website for your own use. To get the complete source for the fully working website, just go to the download link in the last lesson of the Intro CSS lessons.
